EA Games has just announced the release date for their highly anticipated game, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, through a press release and has provided more details.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released worldwide on October 31, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will be available in several versions, including the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition.
In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players will take on the role of Rook, a fully customizable protagonist who must rise, assemble a team, and become the hero that Thedas needs. A group of seven unique companions, each from an iconic faction within the Dragon Age universe, will join Rook in the fight against the Elven Gods. Alongside their own personal stories and motivations, companions Bellara, Davrin, Emmrich, Harding, Lucanis, Neve, and Taash each possess unique skills and equipment that Rook must strategically utilize in the battle for Thedas.
“As someone who has worked on Dragon Age for over 15 years, I know how much our community has been looking forward to this day, and I’m just as excited to announce that the game will officially launch on October 31,” said John Epler, Creative Director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. “We wanted to give players the choice to truly be themselves and do so in a world full of adventure and danger. Whether they choose to be a warrior, rogue, or mage, we can’t wait for them to gear up, gather their companions, and embark on a new thrilling adventure through Thedas.”
