Today, Nintendo aired a double presentation for the first time, featuring both an Indie World and a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase.
In these presentations, a large number of games from publishing and development partners were unveiled, all set to release on the Nintendo Switch in the winter of 2024 and beyond.
Here is a detailed overview of all the games from the Indie World presentation:
– Pizza Tower: In the fast-paced platform adventure Pizza Tower, everything revolves around movement, exploration, and high scores… and pizza, of course. Peppino Spaghetti is on a mission to destroy the Pizza Tower to save his restaurant. Race through the tower’s floors at top speed, neutralize enemies along the way, and adapt to various obstacles and transformations. Follow Peppino in his frenzy and experience stylish 2D pixel art reminiscent of 90s cartoons when Pizza Tower launches on Nintendo Switch later today.
– Balatro: Friends of Jimbo: In this free update for the critically acclaimed roguelike deckbuilder Balatro, players can use cards inspired by four well-known video games, play more forbidden poker hands, discover special jokers, and create spectacular combos. The update features cards from The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, Vampire Survivors, DAVE THE DIVER, and Among Us—each with unique art based on the respective game. Balatro: Friends of Jimbo will be released later today for the Nintendo Switch.
– Coffee Talk Tokyo: The visual novel Coffee Talk Tokyo is the latest game in the award-winning Coffee Talk series. Players take on the role of a barista at a coffee shop in Tokyo. The customers may be otherworldly, but their problems are very human. Listen to the stories of new customers, serve them drinks, and offer a listening ear—all to the soothing tunes of lo-fi tracks by composer Andrew Jeremy. Coffee Talk Tokyo will be served in 2025 on Nintendo Switch.
– PowerWash Simulator – Shrek Special Pack DLC: Wash away the grime from five fairytale maps from the Shrek universe, including Shrek’s own swamp and the dragon’s nest, in this new paid DLC. Don a shiny armor-inspired character model, play solo or with a friend in online co-op on a mini-campaign, or gather a cleaning crew of up to six players in Free Play. The PowerWash Simulator – Shrek Special Pack DLC is coming to Nintendo Switch in the fall of 2024.
– Peglin: In this pachinko-inspired roguelike RPG, embark on a mission to get revenge on dragons who stole your gold. Aim orbs and hit pins to deal damage in turn-based battles. Collect and upgrade different orbs, each with its own powers. The pins can have various quirky attributes, and rare passive power-ups called relics add even more effects. You can create spectacular combos by precisely aiming and combining the effects of orbs, pins, and relics! With each run, explore a new map, and as you complete runs, unlock higher difficulty levels. Teach those dragons a lesson when Peglin bounces onto the Nintendo Switch later today as a temporary console exclusive.
– Morsels: Play as a mouse and fight against malevolent cats in this grungy, whimsical top-down action roguelike. Deep beneath the dangerous overworlds, you encounter Fatberg, who, with the help of a few magical cards, allows you to transform into powerful little monsters called Morsels. With your newfound powers, head to the overworlds, gather other Morsels, and transform into different Morsels to use a variety of unique abilities. Fight against the malevolent cats when Morsels comes to Nintendo Switch in February 2025.
– Wobbly Life: In the colorful, open sandbox world of Wobbly Life, nearly everything is interactive. Grandma has kicked you out of the house and wants you to find a job. Choose from over 50 unique missions and jobs for yourself, or make life easier by teaming up with another player online or in local co-op. Once you’ve earned some in-game money, you can spend it on over 90 vehicles and more than 250 clothing items. Grab, play, and experiment in a world full of props, mini-games, quirky story missions, and surprises. Have a blast when Wobbly Life comes to Nintendo Switch in December 2024.
– Date Everything!: In this sandbox dating sim, players can indeed date just about anything—100 characters ranging from household objects to appliances and even concepts. Engage in flirty, deep conversations with these fully voiced characters to get to know them better and form meaningful relationships. Choices can lead not only to love but also to friendship or even disdain. Date Everything! will be released on October 24 on the Nintendo Switch.
– Neva: The team behind the critically acclaimed GRIS presents Neva—an emotional action-adventure about the story of Alba, a young woman who cares for the playful wolf cub Neva. A traumatic confrontation with dark forces soon follows. Together, they journey through a world that was once beautiful but is now visibly deteriorating. Initially, Alba must care for Neva, but as their journey progresses, a larger, fiercer Neva becomes the protector of her mother figure. Experience a poignant tale of the bond between mother and child when Neva comes to the Nintendo Switch on October 15.

Brace yourself for a journey full of oddities and wonders, where Valere and Zale must find new ways to end a cursed carnival. Zale transforms into a skilled juggler, while Valere showcases her acrobatics. Alongside the new playable character Arty, they explore new areas, navigate through new dungeons, and encounter new enemies, bosses, and puzzles on their mission to save the world of Horloge. The DLC also supports the upcoming local co-op, allowing players to form a group of up to three for the adventure. But beware, the threat of a sinister event known as the ‘Final Process’ looms. Along the way, you’ll encounter various insects. Some will become friends, while others must be silenced in verbal conflicts with multiple dialogue options. Your choices affect the story’s outcome, so keep your eyes open—this world holds many secrets to unravel and multiple endings to discover. Moth Kubit will be released on the Nintendo Switch in the spring of 2025.
– PICO PARK 2: Teamwork is essential in this sequel to the action-puzzle platformer PICO PARK. In local or online multiplayer, two to eight players can work together to navigate through over 60 new levels filled with platforms, cliffs, and other obstacles. Each level is playable regardless of the number of players, but strategic insight and tight coordination are needed to reach the exit of each level. The game modes WORLD, ENDLESS, and BATTLE are back, and the brand-new DARK mode offers an even greater challenge, where skills and friendships are put to the ultimate test.
