Techland continues to surprise the gaming world with innovative content for their Dying Light franchise. Their latest expansion, Dying Light: The Beast, takes a striking, beastly turn.
Although it had been leaked earlier, Geoff Keighley added extra excitement by sharing a teaser with the words ‘The Beast is coming to Games’ leading up to the reveal. Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone expansion for Dying Light 2, in which players return to the original character from the first game, Kyle Crane. The expansion promises a more horror-oriented approach to the franchise, featuring a monster that is said to be even more terrifying than the many zombies wandering the world.
In this standalone expansion, you will travel to a new, rural area specifically designed for Dying Light: The Beast. Kyle has survived brutal experiments and gained supernatural powers. The expansion offers approximately 20 hours of new gameplay. An exact release date for Dying Light: The Beast has not yet been announced.
