Todd Howard primarily focuses the Fallout franchise on the United States, but fans have long been curious about how the rest of the world would look after a nuclear disaster.
Since 2019, a passionate group of modders and developers has been working on Fallout: London, an ambitious mod they describe as a completely new game and a total conversion for Fallout 4.
The recent current-gen update for Fallout 4, however, disrupted the planned release of the mod. The developers had to make some adjustments due to the update, which did not go entirely smoothly. One of the requirements to play Fallout: London is that you must manually revert the Steam or GOG version of Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition to version 1.10.163.0 or older.
Despite this workaround, Fallout: London is now available for free. Fans of the Fallout series can now embark on a completely new adventure in a post-apocalyptic London.
