Lead New Cultures
Four iconic cultures from the ancient world enter the battlefield to prevent the catastrophic events of the Bronze Age collapse: Babylon, Assyria, Mycenae, and Troy. Each culture offers a unique campaign experience with historical leaders, diverse armies, deities to worship, and much more. Additionally, players can choose from 25 smaller factions, such as the Aeolians led by the legendary Achilles or Napata led by the warrior king Memnon.
Expand Your Empire
DYNASTIES covers a vast area of the ancient world, from the Aegean Sea to Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. The campaign map is nearly twice the size of the original PHARAOH campaign, featuring 168 new settlements, historical landmarks, and new victory conditions. To traverse this expansive sandbox, new Sea Travel Lanes have been added, allowing fleets to transport your armies more quickly and enabling more extensive and rapid raiding and invasions.
Establish Your Dynasty
With the new dynasties system, players can establish a family tree to ensure their empire withstands the test of time. Players must navigate through strategic marriages, heroic deaths on the battlefield, assassinations, and the looming mortality of old age to leave a legacy that will endure through the ages.
Dominate the Battlefield
The expansion introduces over 150 new and revamped units, including cavalry, camel riders, and faction-specific units like the elite Guards of Troy. With new combat mechanisms, such as the optional Lethality modifier that makes battles more realistic and deadly, players can further hone their tactical skills.
